Lennox furnace repair in Las Vegas typically runs between $150 and $700, with most jobs completed the same day we diagnose the problem. We’re an independent Lennox service provider, which means we work on your furnace without being tied to factory pricing or dealer quotas. If your Lennox furnace is down, call (725) 502-1353 and a live person answers, day or night.

This page is for Las Vegas homeowners with a Lennox furnace that’s short-cycling, blowing cold air, making noise it shouldn’t, or refusing to start at all. We’ll walk through the failures we see most often on Lennox equipment in this climate, what those repairs cost, and how our process keeps you from guessing. Written price before any work starts. Always.
How Lennox Products Fail – and How We Fix Them
- Elite Series pressure switch faults. Lennox Elite furnaces (the EL296V and EL195E are common in Las Vegas) use sealed combustion chambers and a pressure switch that verifies airflow before the burners fire. Dust from our desert air coats the switch diaphragm over time, and the furnace locks out. We don’t just replace the switch. We check the inducer motor and the condensate trap first, because a weak inducer will trip a brand-new switch within a month.
- Merit Series ignitor failures. The Lennox Merit ML193 and ML180 lines ship with a silicon nitride ignitor that gets brittle after three to five seasons. In Las Vegas, where furnaces sit idle for eight months and then fire up hard in November, that first cold snap is when ignitors snap. We stock OEM and quality aftermarket ignitors on the truck, so this is usually a one-visit fix.
- Signature Series draft inducer noise. Lennox Signature models (SLP98V, SLP99V) run a variable-speed inducer that should be nearly silent. When it starts grinding or whining, the bearings on the inducer motor are going. This is a known weak point on the line, and the fix is replacing the inducer assembly. We use OEM parts for Signature furnaces because aftermarket inducers don’t match the variable-speed curve, and your furnace will sound wrong even when it works.
- Heat exchanger cracks on 12 to 15 year old G-series units. The old Lennox G26, G40, and G51 furnaces are still in plenty of Las Vegas homes built in the 1990s and early 2000s. Their heat exchangers crack at the crimp joints, and that’s not a repair, it’s a replacement decision. We scope the exchanger with a camera, show you the crack, and give you a straight answer on whether repair makes sense. On a furnace that age, it usually doesn’t.
- Control board failures from power surges. Las Vegas storms and grid switching cause more board failures than people realize. Lennox control boards, especially on the EL and SL lines with communicating thermostats, are sensitive to voltage spikes. Before we condemn a board, we check the transformer, the high-limit switch, and the thermostat wiring. We replace boards with OEM parts when we can, because aftermarket boards on Lennox communicating systems often drop features like variable-speed blower control.

Our Lennox Furnace Repair Process
- 1
You call, a person answers. No phone tree, no voicemail. We take your name, your cross streets, and what the furnace is doing. We schedule a window that same day in most cases.
- 2
You know who’s coming. Before the tech leaves the shop, you get their name and photo sent to your phone. When they arrive, they show a photo ID badge at the door. If the person at your door doesn’t match the photo we sent, that visit is on us. That’s the Threshold Verified standard, and we built our reputation on it.
- 3
We diagnose and write it down. The tech opens the furnace, checks the sequence of operation, and finds the actual fault. You get a written price before any work starts. Parts and labor, the full number. No work begins until you say yes and sign.
- 4
Parts decision, made clear. For safety components, gas valves, and communicating controls, we use OEM Lennox parts. For universal parts like ignitors, flame sensors, and capacitors, we’ll offer a quality aftermarket option if it saves you money and carries the same guarantee.
- 5
We test it like we’re leaving our own house. The furnace runs through a full heating cycle. We check temperature rise across the heat exchanger, verify the flame pattern, test the safety rollout switches, and make sure the condensate drains.
- 6
You get a written guarantee. Every repair includes a guarantee in writing. If that repair fails within the guarantee period, we return free of charge under our 365-Day Done Right Promise. No argument, no second invoice.
What Lennox Furnace Repair Costs in Las Vegas

- Ignitor replacement: $150 to $300, parts and labor included.
- Pressure switch replacement: $180 to $350, depending on the model.
- Flame sensor cleaning or replacement: $120 to $250.

AfterWhy Las Vegas Homeowners Call Brandt HVAC Co Las Vegas for Lennox Work
We’re not tied to Lennox, and that’s an advantage to you. An independent Lennox service provider can tell you plainly when a repair is worth it and when it isn’t, without a factory relationship coloring the recommendation. We fix Lennox furnaces all winter across Las Vegas, and we also service Carrier and Trane, so when a homeowner is deciding between repairing and replacing, we can give a straight comparison without brand loyalty getting in the way.
Devin Marlowe grew up in the San Fernando Valley, trained at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, and has spent decades working on HVAC systems across the Southwest. He and his crew have been servicing Las Vegas homes and businesses for years, and they know the seasonal patterns here: furnaces idle through a long summer, then get asked to work hard in November. Lennox equipment responds to that specific duty cycle, and we know what that looks like. As Devin says, “Tell me what it is doing, I will tell you what it needs – no guessing, no padding the invoice.”

FAQs
It can. Lennox warranties typically require that repairs be performed by a licensed HVAC technician, and using non-approved parts on warranty-covered components can void coverage on that part. We’re an independent Lennox service provider, not an authorized dealer, but we follow warranty-safe practices when we quote and install parts so your remaining coverage stays intact where it applies.
We keep common Lennox parts on the truck: ignitors, flame sensors, pressure switches, and universal controls. For less common components, Las Vegas is close enough to major Lennox distribution that most parts arrive same-day or next-day. The only exception is some Signature series communicating boards, which can take two to three business days. We’ll tell you the wait before you approve anything.
If your Lennox furnace is over 15 years old, has a cracked heat exchanger, or needs a repair that costs more than a third of a replacement, replacement is usually the smarter call in Las Vegas. We’ll give you the repair quote and a replacement quote side by side, and we’ll tell you which one we would choose if it were our house. No pressure either way.
In most cases, same-day. We answer calls with a live person 24/7, and we dispatch across the Las Vegas valley from Summerlin to Henderson to North Las Vegas. Cold nights in December and January are when furnaces fail, and we staff for it. Call (725) 502-1353 and we’ll get a technician to you as soon as the same day.
Yes. Every repair we do includes a written guarantee that covers both the part and our labor for the stated period. If that repair fails within the guarantee period, we return free of charge under our 365-Day Done Right Promise. You’ll see the guarantee terms in writing before you approve any work.
